my first film, an ambient short i made in a week! encouraged by my friend maebh to make something for her and shelby's short film festival, vine night. i wrote the score and shot all the footage and edited it myself. its about the spaces i like to exist in; its about my relationship with my bike, and riding around at night through laneways, under street lamps and powerlines, past garages covered in graffiti. staring up at houses. lingering in the park until 4am. loosening my grip on reality.
my second short film!! a spiritual successor to the previous, made for the second vine night! its about my sentimentality for halloween decorations and autumn itself. i love the way they fill the weirdly residential areas of the city. i love the contrast between the fleshy jack o lanterns and the plastic and cardboard everywhere else.
